How old should my child be?

We recommend doing a cake smash session no earlier than a month before your child’s 1st birthday.  You can do a cake smash session for any aged child (provided they can ‘smash’ a cake!).  The most popular session are for the child’s 1st and 2nd birthdays.

Do you provide the cake?

As long as your child has NO allergies, then we can provide a decorated cake in your chosen colour theme.  If you would like a bigger, more stylised cake than our standard, one can be arranged for an extra fee.

How long will the session take?

Cake smash sessions take around 30 minutes to an hour, depending on the child.  Younger ones tend to finish earlier than the older children.

Can I get portraits of my child without the cake?

Before we start the cake smash session, we take shots of your child in the set so that they can get used to being in front of the camera.  They are nice and clean when we do this.

Studio vs Outdoor Location?

You choose!  We style each cake smash to the individual child, so if you would like to do yours outside just let us know!

Can we get the digital files of our Cake Smash session?
